Hello there! I'm a long time Hall and Oates fan. My story is a unique one. I am an ex-Amisher who first heard a Hall and Oates song on someone's FM radio when my father and I were giving tourists a ride around Lancaster, PA, in a buggy. I knew right then and there that I liked music and had to listen to it. Well, it turns out my rumspringer was coming up (the time when Amish teens are allowed to do all the normal things you English people can do) - it's our "freedom time". I heard that Hall and Oates were giving a concert at the Capitol Theater in Passaic, New Jersey. So I hitched up the old wagon, put on my truncated triangle, and headed off down the highway out of PA and into Jersey. It took me about 12 hours to make the trip, what with the horse being slow, and several cops stopping me to ask me what the hell I was doing on the highway with a buggy. Anyway, I loved that concert. Unfortunately, when I came out of the theater, my horse had been graffitied up and the hub caps on my wagon wheels had been stolen. But I enjoyed the concert immensely and left the order soon after.
Nice to meet you all.
